What awaits you on the Lake Thun Canoe Trail

The Lake Thun Canoe Trail is not a fixed programme, but a flexible experience on the water. Your group chooses its own starting point and destination and decides whether to paddle a round trip or a one-way route.

There is a choice of canoes for up to four people and stand-up paddles. On the way, you glide along the picturesque lakeshore, discover bathing spots, picnic and barbecue areas and enjoy the view of the mountains and water.

That's what makes this supporting programme so special:

  • Five hire stations from Gwatt to Leissigen
  • Free choice of start and finish
  • Canoe or SUP, depending on your preference
  • Peaceful nature experience without pressure to perform
  • Can be ideally combined with breaks on the shore

Why and how it suits the business event

The Lake Thun Canoe Trail combines exercise, nature and socialising in an uncomplicated way. In small boat teams, there is room for dialogue without any pressure to perform or compete. The stages can be chosen flexibly and can be easily adapted to the time budget and group size. The result is an active supporting programme that is easy to plan.

At the destination, you hand in your boats and equipment and enjoy a relaxed end to the experience. Many stations are located in the immediate vicinity of restaurants, bathing areas or barbecue sites. If you wish, we can help you combine your trip with an aperitif or picnic on the lake, a visit to a restaurant or another item on the programme in Spiez or the surrounding area.

Particularly suitable for:

  • Company and team events in summer
  • Active supporting programmes with a connection to nature
  • Groups with a desire for flexibility
  • Customer events with a relaxed character
  • Events that combine exercise and relaxation

Whether as a half-day change of perspective or as a connecting element between two seminar blocks, the canoe trail fits harmoniously into your event programme.
